I think doing that would be pointless, but do see the side to your argument.
However the iPhone should try and play to its strengths and not try and copy its competitors. It has a built in Gyroscope which is a lot like the sixaxis/ wii (less the wii) and allows games to be controlled in ways the PSP and DS can't. For example steering by moving the iPhone in driving games and any tilt mechanics. It also has a camera, built in gps, now a compass and internet as standard.
I thought Lost Odyssey was under-rated so I'm looking forward to seeing what the studio puts out next.
And now with the 3GS it really looks likely. It'll take a while for it to get some of the same quality of games as PSP and DS but I'm sure they will eventually appear.

Either way Fifa 09 dominated my last year of university so I can't wait for 10. I used to be a pro evo man but changed last year. I guess I'll play both versions before deciding on a champion again. Its hard not be lured in by all the real licenses though!

The consoles are evenly matched and both have their own strengths and weaknesses. I have a feeling sales will end up pretty even in the long run.
